Demi Lovato And Emblem3 Are 'Homies,' Trio Says

They just announced their second U.S tour, are currently working hard on their solo album and will release their first single this month, so coming in fourth place on "The X Factor" isn't such a big deal for pop trio Emblem3.

The SoCal threesome, which consists of Drew Chadwick and brothers Wesley and Keaton Stromberg, has accomplished quite a bit in a few short months, and it's not too surprising that they've signed a deal with Syco Music and Columbia Records, which has them working closely with show mentor Simon Cowell.

"He's behind the scenes more. He's very up there," Wes recently told MTV News. "He just oversees everything, throws in his two cents."

Drew added, "He's just like, 'Let me know when the single is done.' He'll be like, 'OK, that's really cool, good, or no, it sucks, that's terrible.' "

Luckily for the boys, whose first single, "Chloe (You're the One I Want)," will be released April 16, Cowell has liked what he's heard so far.

"He said he loved it," Wes said. "He said, 'That's perfect. I'm proud.' "

Yet, Cowell isn't the only mentor they have kept in touch with since leaving "The X Factor." The group revealed that they have heard from Demi Lovato, who recently announced her return to the singing competition for season three.

"Demi sent me a really long email once and just ga! ve me all this awesome advice," Drew revealed. "And we are friends. We keep in touch."

Lovato made it no secret that she was a fan of the boys last season, telling them they are "cute" and that they made her "swoon" when they sang, but don't get the wrong idea, it seems this relationship is purely platonic.

"I don't think we are really attracted to each other on real terms," Drew said. "But we are homies. She's really cool."
