Demi Lovatos huge comeback was documented by MTV cameras for the upcoming special, Stay Strong, which is inspired by her tattoos Stay and Strong that she got on her wrists after all the fan support throughout treatment.

The 19-year-old Skyscraper singer, who has once again found her place on top, says she ultimately wanted to film her life after treatment in the hopes of helping other young girls and boys, as well as give others a better understanding of her own struggles.

"My goals for my fans? It's to really inspire people," she told MTV News. "That's all I hope to accomplish. If there is a young girl at home dealing with the same issues that I'm dealing with, I want to be able to reach out to her and tell her that it's going to be OK.

"You know, I speak about a lot of serious issues and I really hope to get awareness out there about the issues that I dealt with," she continued. "But at the end of the day, I just want people to see what it's like to be in my shoes. I kind of talked about the journey that I've been on and I just want people to take away a positive message. It gets better, you know?"

Before the premiere on March 6, Demi did an interview with Teen Vogue where she gave her best advice to those who are struggling.

Be vocal about your problems. Don't hold anything inside, because that will only stall your recovery, she told the magazine. A lot of girls and boys that are dealing with bullying and dealing with issues like I was dealing with are confused and they're e! xperimen ting with different coping skills I wish that I would have been more vocal about it earlier.

Lovato, who has expressed a desire to be a positive role model to teens, adds that a good confidence builder over all the pressures to look a certain way is to look in the mirror.

Look in the mirror and tell yourself you're beautiful no matter what," she said. "Tell yourself to stay strong and keep going.

Demi herself has stayed strong and she has big plans for the near future.

I'm going to be playing a lot of shows this summer and doing a world tour. I'm really excited to see everyone on the road. I have a really great support system around me and they keep a good head on my shoulders and help me, she said. I feel like I'm in secure hands and I just stay focused and work towards my recovery every day. The connection with my fans is so incredible, I can't even explain it.
