Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato team up on Twitter to defend curvy women

Miley Cyrus is tired of the remarks about her weight and has taken to Twitter to air her grievances (with Demi Lovato’s support.)

The 18-year-old starlet began lashing out on Twitter late last week to comment on all the mean-spirited critiques and the negative impact they can have.

“By calling girls like me fat, this is what you’re doing to other people,” Miley tweeted on Friday along with a photo of a woman clearly suffering from an eating disorder. “I love MYSELF & if you could say the same you wouldn’t be sitting on your computer trying to hurt others.”

Miley proceeded to post a pic of Marilyn Monroe that included the following caption: “Proof that you can be adored by thousands of men even when your thighs touch.”

Showing her support for Miley? None other than fellow former Disney star Demi Lovato, who is certainly no stranger to the issueat hand.

“AMEN!” tweeted Demi, adding: “@MileyCyrus god I love you. SO DO YOU!!! And whoever called you that has it coming.”
