Wait. *does double triple take* Are you guys 100% sure Demi Lovato isn't a natural blonde?? I mean, I consider myself a super-Lovatic, but this brand new honey-colored dye job is SPOT. ON. High and low lights in all the right, organic-looking places and in just the right amounts, and all of it the right interval on the flaxen spectrum to complement Demi's skintone and strong brow. This weekend, Demi tweeted this passenger seat snap of her new 'do thanks to her preferred haircare professionals at Nine Zero One Salon. And to think... It maybe almost didn't happen!

Demi almost put her strands in the hands of another salon, as this frantic homecoming tweet suggests. But for a quick change from vibrant scarlet red to beachy blonde to turn out THIS good, she knew she needed to stick with a tried and true team. We have to say, Demi, we are fully into this new look. It's striking but doesn't look overdone. Different but not unnatural. The slight gradient from root to end is everything here, and it works so beautifully with Demi's long layered haircut. We agree, D. Change is good.
