Selena Gomez reveals in Cosmopolitan that she lived with Demi Lovato and a few other girls when she first arrived in LA, says her friendship with Demi is better than ever

Disney stars Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato have been friends since meeting on Barney and Friends, and at one point, they shared a home together.

In the new issue of Cosmopolitan, Gomez, 19, revealed that when she and Demi first arrived in Hollywood, they lived together with a few other girls and their mothers in an effort to save money.

"We didn't have that much money coming out here, so we were living together to share expenses, she said in the magazine, according to The Hot Hits. There were seven of us girls living in one loft, including sisters and moms and everything. It was really interesting."

Living together didnt change their friendship too much. Despite a time where they were growing apart, Selena says that she and Demi, 19, have built up a strong friendship.

"There was a point when she and I were going our different ways, because we were figuring out who we were, she said. Now, we're better than ever."

Lovato previously said they have a strong friendship because they never fight. Selena is not a confrontational person according to the Give Your Heart a Break singer. She even cites Selena as one of her biggest supporters when she was getting treatment for personal issues in 2010. Selena wrote a letter to Demi recently explaining how proud she is of her best friend.

"Thank you for trusting me and wanting me there during that hard time," Gomez wrote in a letter via email that was read aloud during a Seventeen Magazine event. "I hope you know how much I love you and how proud I am of the role model that you have become."

Lovato said in Seventeen that Gomez will never leave my life no matter what happens, because weve been through so much together.
