Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, Avril Lavigne Linked To 'The X Factor' USA

Simon Cowell is "in talks" with Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato and Avril Lavigne regarding the new season of The X Factor USA, according to reports.

Miley and Demi, both 19, would by far be the youngest judges ever to appear on the show if the rumours prove true.

A "production insider" tells Celebuzz that the trio of chart-topping popstars are on Cowell's hitlist to join himself, LA Reid and the to-be-confirmed Britney Spears on the show's second run.

"There have been talks with Miley," alleged the source.

Cowell said early last month that an announcement regarding Spears would be made within a week, however no word is yet to emerge.

Fergie has also been linked once again, however she ruled herself out of the role earlier this year.

There's also a vacancy on the UK panel of the show, following the recent departure of Kelly Rowland. It is thought that Dannii Minogue will return to replace her.
