Awkward! Demi Lovato Has To Choose Who To Send Home Out Of Her Two Acts In Double Elimination Shocker

When X Factor UK judge Louis Walsh had to decide which one of his two acts he had to send home last week, he refused to vote. However, the same couldn't be said for X Factor USA judge who was asked to vote which one of her two acts she wanted to save.

With the results show providing to be a shocker with the initial elimination of Simon Cowell's act, girl group Lyric 145, co-hosts Mario Lopez and Khloe Kardashian then announced that Jennel Garcia and Paige Thomas would have to face each other in the sing-off.

Having performed their sing-off songs, the attention soon turned to the judges as they had to decide who they wanted to send home. Commenting on Paige and Jennel being in the bottom two, L.A. Reid said: "I'm shocked that either of them are at the bottom."

Whilst Britney also chose to see Jennel leave the show, Jennel and Paige's mentor Demi had to make the tough decision over who she wanted to save. In the end Demi chose to save Jennel and send home Paige. However, Jennel's journey on the show came to and end when Simon became the third judge to vote to save Paige.

We wonder what Demi and Paige will say to each other following last night's results!

Commenting on Jennel's exit, Demi said: "You're so unbelievably talented and you have a future ahead of you so I'm not worried. I love you and I really, really believe in you."
