X Factor USA: Working With Demi Lovato Has Been 'Tough' Admits Brian Friedman
X Factor choreographer Brian Friedman appears to have admitted to clashing with judge Demi Lovato following the claims made last week that the pair were involved in an altercation before the live show kicked off last week.
According to Radar Online, an insider claimed: "Demi was p****d and told the producers this wasn't what she's planned and she was not putting her name to it. The acts and dancers were all rushed out of the studio to make the changes 10 minutes before the show started."
Admitting that it has been "tough" working with Demi on the show due to their different ideas, Brian told BANG Showbiz:
"It's definitely been a new experience in trying to build new relationships and getting to know each other. Demi and I are a learning process because we are brand new and she is a bold strong personality.
"We definitely have contrasting ideas so it's been tough but I think we are getting there. We had a chat and decided to work together and make sure that we're not giving conflicting ideas to her contestants. I think when we go get there her category is really going to thrive."
Whilst Brian might still be finding his feet in his professional relationship with Demi, the choreographer is more than happy with his relationship with Demi's fellow judges Simon Cowell and Britney Spears.
He added: "Simon and I have had seven years to work this out and my relationship with Britney is incredible. She trusts me when it comes to staging and choreography. "
