Demi Lovato Covers Chris Brown On First Night Of US Tour

Demi Lovato kicked off her summer tour of the US in New Jersey on Friday night, and fans lapped up a cover of Chris Brown's 'Turn Up The Music'.

The song has been a global smash for Breezy, and was a No. 1 hit in the UK in March.

Demi's tour is being worked around her commitments on The X Factor USA, which sees her sit alongside Simon Cowell, Britney Spears and LA Reid.

She said on Twitter yesterday: "WOW!!! [The fans] blew me away last night. Doing it all again tonight at Star Pavilion in Hershey, PA."

She has recently been linked to One Direction heart-throb Niall Horan, but insisted during a radio appearance this week that they are just friends.

After joking that she'd never heard of him, she clarified: "Niall is a friend of mine. I do know who he is. Were just friends and hes awesome. Hes cool."
