Demi Lovato asks fans to paint their pinkies blue, take a stand against bullying
Demi Lovato in conjunction with Secret deodorant are encouraging fans to stand up against bullying in their newest campaign, Mean Stinks.
As previously reported, Lovato became the ambassador for the anti-bullying campaign when it was announced in September. Secret deodorant promised to donate $1 dollar from every purchase of Mean Stinks Clinical Strength to the cause.
Pushing forward, the X Factor judge is asking that everyone paint their pinky blue to pinky-promise that they will stand up against bullying. Currently the campaign is promoting its cause on Facebook as well as on Twitter @MeanStinks.
Supporters can also use #bluepinkie to receive updates.
According to the campaigns Thursday update, 30% of teens say they are bullied.
Lovato encourages everyone to gang up for good to take a stance against bullying.
Currently the campaigns Twitter account has exceeded 11,000 followers. Since being named Mean Stinks ambassador, Lovato has joined Twitter fans for live chat on turning October into anti-bullying month.
