Demi Lovato: 'One Direction's Niall Horan is not my boyfriend'

Demi Lovato has insisted that One Direction star Niall Horan is not her boyfriend.

The duo have been linked for months and the pair were yesterday said to be "loosely dating".

Lovato has said that she has a "little crush" on Horan but told Teen Vogue that they are not in a relationship.

"He's a really awesome, sweet guy," she said. "But he's not my boyfriend."

Lovato, who previously sought treatment for an eating disorder, explained that she is not rea! dy to da te just yet.

"I'm in a place right now where I really need to focus on myself," she said. "Obviously, I'm still going to like people - or love them - but I need to not be in a relationship for a while because I need to be okay with being alone, first."

She added: "I'm really happy right now. I never thought it was possible to be happy because of how depressed I was my entire life. But I feel so incredible. It's like I'm living in a dream."

Lovato is currently working as a judge on The X Factor USA, which airs Wednesdays and Thursdays on Fox.
