We love watching Demi Lovato bite back at Simon Cowell on The X Factor USA, someone needs to stand up to him.

So were hoping that shes not too quiet on the show this week after she revealed she is suffering from bronchitis.

The singer sits on the new judging panel alongside Britney Spears, Simon Cowell and L.A Reid, and she has been urging fans to vote during the live rounds to keep her acts in the running for the upcoming finale.

She took to Twitter on Wednesday to share news of her illness with followers.

And she has been using the social networking website to boost support for her final competitor, CeCe Frey.
