In today's roundup of TV news, Simon Cowell is dishing on Demi Lovato's future as an X Factor judge, Castle is hosting another Firefly reunion, and JWoww is bemoaning the loss of Jersey Shore. Keep reading for all the latest small screen scoop.

More X Factor for Demi?
Demi Lovato is sassy, opinionated, and not afraid to speak her mind so does that mean she's headed to the X Factor chopping block?

When asked after last Thursday's episode about Lovato's criticism of Simon Cowell's two remaining groups, the British host admitted: "It did get a bit bitchy and unpleasant." But that doesn't necessarily mean that the pop star will go the way of Season 1 judges Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger.

While Cowell refused to confirm definitively whether or not Lovato would be back next season, he had lots of praise for th new judge. "She's fun," he told reporters. "She really, really is a tough little thing. I know she plays the 'I've been bullied' [card] trust me, this one gives as good as she gets."

The four remaining X Factor acts, boy band Emblem3, Carly Rose Sonenclar, Tate Stevens, and girl group Fifth Harmony, will compete in the semifinals this Wednesday at 8/7c on Fox.

Cheryl Cole Sues X Factor
Speaking of The X Factor, Cheryl Cole only served as a judge for a brief period before being replaced by Nicole Scherzinger, but now the British singer has filed a lawsuit against the show's production company claiming they owe her $2 million, plus an additional $300,000 to cover expenses for wardrobe, styling, and a living allowance (via THR).

Cole claims that her X Factor contract required the show to "pay the talent even if the producer decides (for reasons other than the talent's breach of contract) not to use the talent and/or releases the talent from his or her obligations under the contract."

Another Firefly Reunion
Castle is hosting another Firefly reunion! Gina Torres, who played Zoe opposite Nathan Fillion's Mal on the sci-fi series, will be stopping by the ABC crime drama to lay Samantha Foster, a fashion mogul who is appearing on a Real Housewives-esque reality show. Torres will appear in the 14th episode of the season, "Reality Star Struck" (via TVLine). The actress currently stars on USA's Suits as Jessica Pearson.
Happy Drag
RuPaul is coming to Happy ! Endings...sort of. The drag icon will guest star on the ABC comedy as Alex and Jane's hairdresser, but there's a catch he won't be in drag. RuPaul will appear as his non-drag persona, RuPaul Charles, in the episode, which has him agreeing to take on Max as a client. Happy Endings airs Tuesday nights at 9/8c on ABC.
Alcide's Dad is Back
Robert Patrick is heading back to True Blood. Deadline reports that the star of the canceled ABC series Last Resort has signed a deal to join the HBO vampire drama as a series regular for the upcoming sixth season. Patrick previously appeared as Alcide's creepy dad during a three-episode arc during the fifth season. Are you looking forward to seeing more of the Terminator vet on True Blood? Jersey Tears
If you're like us, you're probably not too bummed that Jersey Shore is wrapping up after six seasons of drunken debauchery. But Jenni 'JWoww' Farley is taking the news a little bit harder. In a recent New York Times interview, the Jersey girl reveals that her last day on set was an emotional one. I had a nervous breakdown in the middle of the street, crying, she said. It was so bittersweet. Thats the house that changed m! y life. It's also the house that gave her breast implants and possible cirrohsis of the liver, so we understand why JWoww would be upset. The series finale of The Jersey Shore is slated to air on December 20 on MTV.

HBO has released the new poster for the upcoming second season of Lena Dunham's buzzy comedy Girls, which returns on January 13.
