It seems like Demi Lovato's girl crush on Kristen Stewart is just getting bigger, as the X Factor USA judge has taken to Twitter once again to say how the showbiz pair are 'twins' because they're both on crutches.

Demi noticed that K-Stew was hobbling along the Oscars red carpet, so she took the opportunity to tell her millions of fans that they have this in common, as Demi was also rocking some crutches at a recent LFW event.

The 'Skyscraper' singer tweeted: Kristen Stewart ON CRUTCHES?!!! #TWINZIES.

Just one month ago, Demi ended up falling in her place and wound up in a leg cast! The star tweeted about what happened: Never, ever, ever, EVER let your roommate clean your hardwood floors with Pledge.

She then posted a photo with an instagram pic of her right foot very bruised and swollen with the message: This sucks :(.

Demi recently admitted to being quite the fan of the 'On The Road' actress when asked by a fan in a VEVO UK Twitter interview she 'liked Kristen Stewart,' to which she replied: Yes and I love her style!

Poor Kristen was forced to walk the red carpet at the! 85th Academy Awards in LA with the aid of crutches after cutting her foot on glass days before the big night. Whilst the star managed to pose for the cameras without her crutches, she looked in obvious pain as she prepared to take to the stage to present an award with Daniel Radcliffe.

According to the AP, K-Stew was also seen explaining her injury to award winner Anne Hathaway.

"I know, I'm an idiot," Stewart replied. "But congratulations!" she said, eyeing Hathaway's Oscar.

"Please tell me you're going on stage with those [crutches]," Hathaway replied but Kristen was quick to reassure her insisting "Nope, I'm gonna hobble."

Anne then apparently showed her sense of humour, quipping "Well, break a leg . . . Oops!"
