Ever since Kim Kardashian announced she was divorcing her husband of 72 days, Kris Humphries, on Halloween, Kim and the rest of the Kardashian Klan have suffered a bit of backlash.
A few celebrities have come to defend Kims decision to get divorced including Tyler Perry and Olivia Wilde.
"I empathize, Wilde told Us Weekly last month. "People judge you because divorce is seen as failure. [Kim] took a risk. No one should be attacking her. Our attention should be focused on things that are truly scandalous."
But while Kardashian backlash continues, Kims friend, Demi Lovato, 19, has come to defend the family.
The Kardashian sisters are some of the REALEST, GENUINE girls I know, she tweeted. People need to leave them alone. Anyone who's running their mouth is Just jealous. And by the way. They are SMART BUSINESS women too.. People don't give them enough credit.
In reply to a tweet from internet and YouTube star Michael Buckley that read: They signed up for a reality show and live very publicly. We have the right to simply not like them, Lovato said people have the right to not be Kardashian fans, but they shouldnt judge.
You have the right to not like them, not the right to pretend like you know them honey. #PERIOD, she wrote.
After her Twitter rant, Lovato said she was feeling sassy.
