Why Did Demi Lovato Return to Rehab?
Demi Lovato hasn't forgotten the lessons she learned at Timberline Knolls.
One year after the 19-year-old singer entered the rehab to treat "emotional and physical issues," Lovato visited the Illinois-based facility on Sunday.

"Today I went back to the treatment center I went to last year to speak to the beautiful women fighting their inner demons," Lovato tweeted. "I was so honored to be able to share my story and let them know that it gets easier. Life is beautiful. You are worthy of it."

Since being released in January 2010, the multiplatinum singer has spoken candidly about her eating disorder, cutting and Bipolar II disorder. Lovato also asked her Twitter followers to "please say a prayer for all of those struggling with eating disorders, self harm, mood disorders, and substance abuse."
In November, the former Disney Channel star thanked her fans for their unwavering support while she was in treatment. "They have stuck by me through everything and love me just the way that I am," she wrote in her monthly Seventeen column . "That is a wonderful feeling to know that people accept the real you."

"Going to treatment was a gift and I believe it saved my life. I learned how to be strong and healthy even through struggles," Lovato added. "It also helped me open up about my issues and share them with others. Knowing that my family, friends and fans accept me for who I am is the greatest feeling ever!"
