Demi Lovato gets Disney to Remove Eating Disorder Joke

Former Disney star Demi Lovato took on Disney by Twitter andshe won. According to a report, Lovato, who went to rehab last year for bulimia, was angered that a character on the Disney ChannelsShake It Up said, I could eat you up, well, if I ate.

I find it really funny how a company can lose one of their actress from the pressures of an EATING DISORDER and yet still make joke about that very disease. #nice, the former Sonny with a Chancestar tweeted. She continued later with, And is it just me or are the actress [on Disney Channel] getting THINNER AND THINNER. I miss the days of RAVEN, and LIZZIE MCGUIRE, and thenDear Disney Channel, EATING DISORDERS ARE NOT SOMETHING TO JOKE ABOUT.

Clearly, the Disney Channel is following Lovatos feed because they pulled the episode and tweeted back,@ddlovato we hear you & are pulling both episodes as quickly as possible & reevaluating them.
