Selena Gomez gets support from fans, Demi Lovato and Justin Bieber following family emergency

Selena Gomez has been laying low ever since this past weekend when she got word of a family emergency which was reported to be news that her mother Mandy Teefey miscarried her first child with Selenas stepdad, Brian Teefey.

Gomez, 19, was publicly excited for her new sibling. She tweeted over Thanksgiving, Im the happiest girl in the world.

Selenas reps arent confirming the news of a miscarriage, but the emergency caused Gomez to cancel two holiday shows. The Love You Like a Love Song singer has been receiving much-needed support from fans and her friends including Demi Lovato and boyfriend Justin Bieber.

Upon news of Mandys miscarriage being reported, Lovato, whom Gomez has known since starring on Barney and Friends when they were just kids, tweeted to Gomez, I Love You.

Justin Bieber, who has been dating the actress for about a year even came to be by Selena and her familys side. According to The Daily Mail, Bieber, 17, paid a visit to the L.A hospital where Mandy had been staying. He looked downcast as he was snapped arriving in his Range Rover.

Gomez is likely to still be a performer on MTVs New Years Eve show, which was confirmed by the network prior to the news regarding her family. Shell be surrounded by not only fans as supporters, but friends. Demi Lovato is serving as co-host and performer on the show. Justin Bieber will be close by in Times Squar! e on New Years Rockin Eve with Ryan Seacrest.
