Demi Lovato and 'Glee's' Kevin McHale to Host 2012 Teen Choice Awards

"The X Factor" judge Demi Lovato and "Glee" actor Kevin McHale, who plays Artie Abrams on the hit Fox series, have been set to host Fox's Teen Choice Awards, airing live on Sunday, July 22.

Lovato was announced as host earlier this week, and McHale was added to the roster on Thursday (July 12). "Demi and I have been friends for years," McHale said in a press release. "It's exciting to finally be working together professionally and I'd like to welcome her to the Fox family. This is going to be a great show."

"So You Think You Can Dance" and "The Choice" host Cat Deeley is also scheduled to appear on the telecast, joining previously announced Troian Bellisario, Ashley Benson, Miley Cyrus, Zooey Deschanel, Ellen DeGeneres, Jason Derulo, Zac Efron, Selena Gomez, Lucy Hale, Josh Hutcherson, Victoria Justice, Laura and Vanessa Marano, Bridgit Mendler, Lea Michele, Shay Mitchell, Tyler Posey, Gordon Ramsay, Dax Shepard, Sophia Grace and Rosie, Jordin Sparks and Taylor Swift.

Justin Bieber, Carly Rae Jepsen, Flo Rida, No Doubt and DJ Pauly D will perform.

Lovato was officially named one of the judges for the second season of "The X Factor" alongside Simon Cowell, L.A. Reid and Britney Spears on May 14 during Fox's upfront presentation to ad buyers in New York City. Lovato and Spears fill the vacated spots left by Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger.

Lovato, whose first single "Skyscraper" off her latest album "Unbroken" recently went platinum, received the Acuvue Inspire Award at last year's Teen Choice ceremony.

McHale has been a "Glee" regular since the show's first season, and last year served as the Pepsi spokesperson for the inagural season of "The X Factor."

Voting for the Teen Choice Awards ends Saturday, July 21.
