Demi Lovato Is Getting Graphic
Demi Lovato, the singer/actress/X Factor judge, will be the subject of a graphic novel to be released in August.
Fame: Demi Lovato, due for release Aug. 12, witll be the latest in Bluewater Productions' Fame series, according to a release. ("Fame comic books focus on the lives of today's most popular celebrities," says the release, because heaven knows you wouldn't find out about them any other way).
The 40-page comic book will chronicle Demi Lovato's early years, her Disney Channel stardom, and her chart-stopping music success. The "early years" part is a little vague, but Lovato once told DFW.com in an interview that she used to "live" at Southlake Town Square, and it's pretty well-known that she and fellow Disney-generated star Selena Gomez became good friends at an audition for Barney and Friends.
It's also well-known that, once famous, Demi Lovato spent a stint in rehab after dealing with some physical and emotional issues.
The book was written by Michael Troy and drawn by Nathan Girten. It's $7.99, and is available for preorder here. Digital versions will be available for Nook, Kindle and iPad.
Future releases from the Fame series include Demi Lovato's fellow X Factor judge Britney Spears, as well as Nick Jonas, Katy Perry, Michael Jackson and more.
