Demi Lovato: I'm not dating Niall Horan

X Factor judge Demi Lovato wants fans to know one thing: She is not dating Niall Horan.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the former Disney star and newest X Factor judge took to an interview backstage where she clarified dating rumors.

Of Horan she explains, Hes really sweet, and hes one of my really good friends now. I am single at the moment, and I plan to be for a long time because I need to focus on my career and myself and my well-being before I think about getting in a relationship.

Lovato explained that her role as judge isnt an easy one, I didnt think it would be this challenging. Saying no to people is really hard.

The Skyscraper singer joined the judging panel alongside Toxic pop singer Britney Spears. Since, co-judge and creator Simon Cowell has gushed about his decision to hire Lovato on, saying, "Demi is a brat but there's something really likable about her as well. I think the show, because it has such a young audience, it needed someone younger."
