If youre the host of the biggest teen event of the year, then you have to look your best and Demi Lovato did just that when she pitched up to the awards ceremony in a stunning feathered embellished minidress.

The 19-year-old singer looked fierce in the feathery number by Falguni and Shane Peacock, giving the cameras her sultriest looks as she posed confidently on the pink carpet.

But as she worked her superstar look with one hand on hip, the US X Factor judge gave onlookers a bit more than theyd bargained for as she revealed a good dose of sideboob through the mesh panels of the dress, completely unaware that the majority of watchers are very young.

And despite the mesh panelling just about protecting the singers modesty, it was seemingly obvious that Demi had decided to go braless to the highly esteemed event under the heavily embellished frock.

Nevertheless, Demi looked stunning as she channelled her inner futuristic warrior princess in the canary yellow and silver metallic dress, teamed with a pair of towering black strappy platform heels and a superhero ponytail.

Demi went slightly too heavy on her make-up look with thick foundation, false! eyelash es and a lot of eyeliner, as well as obvious body shimmer, but the statement number managed to override the little mistakes.

The former Disney star couldnt contain her excitement for the event as she tweeted earlier in the day: ''Turn to FOX tonight at 8pm for the 2012 Teen Choice Awards! Follow TeenChoiceGirl on Instagram for red carpet pics and more! #TeenChoice.''
