Demi Lovato denies reports of 'partying hard': "Total BS"

Demi Lovato has denied reports that she is "still partying" following her recent claims of sobriety.

The former Disney star checked into a rehabilitation centre in November 2010 after suffering from an eating disorder and drug addiction.

She has since announced her recovery, and has joined The X Factor USA as a judge alongside Britney Spears, Simon Cowell and LA Reid.

However, supposed sources alleged to RadarOnline that the young actress was still dabbling in drug abuse.

An apparent source said: "She's not as sober as she's leading everyone to believe and is still partying hard," while another added: "She's really excited about the gig on the The X Factor and is using it as a platform to push her clean image on the public. So she really needs to keep her partying under control."

However, Lovato's rep has dismissed the claims, telling The Huffington Post that they are "total BS".

It was recently announced that Lovato has been chosen to host the upcoming 2012 Teen Choice Awards.
