Earlier this month, rumors abounded that former Disney Channel star Demi Lovato was back in rehab, and this time the word around the campfire was that Lovato was being treated for a substance abuse issue.

A few days back, the actress and singer posted to her Twitter account about going offline, sending two tweets in succession on the 21st that may or may not have been related:

Cant please everyoneTwitter break. Its for the best actually. Who allows me to have this thing anyways?!!! I just get myself in trouble! Haha. Anyway BYE!

Lovato has indeed been inactive on the service for the past few days, and the former Disney star also sparked an outpouring of worry earlier this month when she seemed to be having a bit of a crisis of faith. Back then, Lovato lamented to fans an! d follow ers:

Sometimes it seems like God just keeps throwing crap my way and I get SO angry with him But theres never a doubt in my mind Hes gonna pull me through it all. I know youre there God. But umm Really dude? He never fails to show me Hes by my side though. Even in the tough times. #Godstuff

She later added:

Im not very religious but Im VERY spiritual and I DO believe in God. Im not perfect or preaching! Just tweeting:)Just keep swimming.

After Lovatos latest Twitter admission, the rumors began to circulate that shed re-entered rehab to combat substance abuse issues. However, reps for Lovato deny that she has checked into rehab and say the drug rumors are totally false. In fact, the dismissal from her flak simply stated that the scuttlebutt wasa crock of sh*t.
