Demi Lovato Tweets About Photo Shoot with Tyler Shields

Demi Lovato is back to work and feeling better than ever. The singer revealed to fans in Twitter that they have a sexy photo shoot to look forward to from the former Disney star.

"Doing a crazy photo shoot with the infamous/brilliant@tylershields.. Beyond excited.. But um I hope I survive....... :P" she tweeted Sunday. Later, she gave some interesting details: "I have broken glass in my hair....#photoshootmadness." Sheilds, who also voiced excitement over the collaboration, also suffered some battle wounds. "@ddlovatoI just found glass in my shoe job well done we broke things and made magic!" he tweeted.

Francesca Fisher, daughter of Clint Eastwood, was with Lovato at the big shoot. "Watching magic happen," Fishertweeted.

Shields is known for his edgy, Avant-garde photography, many of which including famous celebrities. He collected the blood of 20 different Hollywood stars to create an installation for his "Life is Not a Fairytale" exhibit in L.A.

He has worked with Lindsay Lohan, Mischa Barton, Dianna Argon and Tamara Ecclestone. His most recent photographs show him destroying designer accessories from Louis Vuitton and Christian Louboutin.

Is this the reveal of a more audacious Demi Lovato? The songstress performed at The People's Choice Awards on Jan. 12 after a tumultuous year.

Demi Lovato's p! erforman ce was probably the most anticipated of the night. Her personal struggles have been a source of media scrutiny since she entered rehab in 2010 for bulimia and self-inflicted injuries. "[I] was performing concerts on an empty stomach...I was losing my voice from purging. I was self-medicating. I was not taking medication for depression, and I literally was so emotionally whacked out that I took it out on someone that meant a lot to me," she told ABC News.

The former Disney star has certainly made a comeback. Her name began trending Wednesday night on Twitter as fans sent their well-wishes and congratulated her on her performance. Though some critics said that her voice was pitchy, her performance of "Give Your Heart A Break" off her new album "Unbroken" got a rousing round of applause.

Lovtao then secured the win for Favorite Pop Artist, competing against the likes of heavyweight stars like Katy Perry, Rihanna,Lady Gagaand Beyonce. Clickhereto watch her performance.

While some criticized her performance, most had nothing but kind words for the 19-year-old.

"My son is drooling over Demi Lovatoon the people's choice awards. I remember there was a time he shunned girls," Tweeted one. "She suffered from bulimia, anorexia, cutting, depression & a eating disorder, and now she's performing at the PCAs. Good Luck Demi Lovato," tweeted another.

At just 19-years-old, Lovato's courage to overcome inner turmoil was an exceptional feat. Surely the Tyler Shields shoot will prove to be another daring move.
