Another new promo for The X Factor USA has been unveiled, this time showcasing season one winner Melanie Amaro's single 'Don't Fail Me Now'.

The clip focusses on contestants with the potential to win the competition, with new judge Demi Lovato seen becoming emotional and embracing a hopeful on-stage.

Simon Cowell, Britney Spears and LA Reid are also seen gushing about a string of talented hopefuls.

Melanie beat Chris Rene and Josh Krajick to last year's $5 million recording contract, despite initially being sent home by Simon Cowell during the Judges' Houses stage.

He had a change of heart and re-instated her, and she went on to go all the way.

The X Factor USA returns in the US on September 12 and 13. Amaro's new single is released on September 11.
