'One Direction' Niall Horan denies Demi Lovato romance

One Direction star Niall Horan has denied rumours that he is dating Demi Lovato.

The singer was first linked to Lovato back in June, though the new X Factor USA judge later explained that Horan is just a good friend.

Horan has now told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show that he is not dating Lovato.

"Me and Demi, we're just really good friends," he said. "She's been doing well. She's been updating me on what she's been doing and stuff, and hopefully I will get to see her next week when we come to LA for the VMAs."

Horan added: "We actually haven't met yet, but hopefully I'll get to see her next week."

Disney star Debby Ryan recently denied that she was romantically involved with Horan, saying: "I actually don't know much about him other than that he's in that band."

One Direction confirmed today that they will release their new album Take Me Home in November.
