Demi Lovato Will Rock VMA Pre-Show!

The countdown to this year's Video Music Awards on September 6 continues, and our lineup for the best video music awards ceremony EVER is filling out with fabulousnessmost recently, the addition of Demi Lovato as a featured performer!

After a terrific showing in her hosting gig at the Teen Choice Awards, Demi will be kicking off the 2012 VMAs pre-show with a performance of "Give Your Heart a Break" (followed by a warm-up hour of music courtesy DJ Calvin Harris), assuring that all present will be pumped and ready to party by the time the ceremony heats up at 8 p.m.

Demi will get the crowd going beginning at 7 p.m., while attendees mix, mingle and show off their award-worthy outfits under the watchful eyes of our MTV News crew and fashion correspondents. And you'll want to hop online well before the party starts to scope out what's happening there; hosting this year's MTV.com Red Carpet Report will be none other than our own "Teen Wolf" star and resident style icon Holland Roden, who plans to get up close and personal with the roaming herds of fashionistas who'll be migrating through on their way to the ceremony.
