She was admitted to rehab in 2010 to battle an eating disorder.

And Demi Lovato has been particularly riled by a new report in an American magazine suggesting that the Duchess of Cambridge is pregnant.

The 20-year-old singer took to Twitter to slam the publication after they claimed Kate Middleton was expecting a child - purely because she appeared to have had her belt loosened at a recent event.

She wrote: 'So apparently Kate Middleton (William?) is pregnant because of THIS picture... Are you KIDDING ME?!!'

'And people wonder why girls/guys have body image issues.. Whether she is or not, she still has a beautiful body. Shame on you Star magazine.'

Showing a close-up of Kate's waistline in a pink lace dress, the article suggests the 30-year-old royal must be pregnant because she had the sash of the gown extended by a couple of inches.

But this isn't the first time it has been claimed the future queen is expecting an heir to the throne.

In November 2011, InTouch magazine reported Kate was six weeks' pregnant - meaning she would have given birth in June.

Meanwhile, rumours flew around that the royal couple were set to become parents when the Duchess declined tasting peanut butter paste during an official visit to Denmark earlier this year.

Kate and William tied the knot in April 2011 in a lavish ceremony at London's Westminster Abbey.

And ever since they became husband and wife, speculation has mounted about when the couple will welcome their first child into the world.

The pair are currently undertaking an official tour of the Asia-Pacific region, and during a visit to a school in Singapore, the future king reportedly said he was hoping ! to have two children in the future.

'Someone asked him how many children he would like to have, and he said he was thinking about having two,' Corine Ackerman, 17, a student at the British-standard Tanglin Trust School in Singapore, was quoted by the Press Association as saying.

Meanwhile, X Factor judge Demi has made no secret of the fact she thinks the entertainment industry is largely to blame for many girls' problems with body image.

She previously said during an interview on ITV1's Lorraine: 'I feel as if television and movies are now glorifying an unhealthy body image which puts a lot of pressure on young girls - and especially girls that are growing up and trying to find themselves.

'A lot of girls who are young are insecure, and they look to the media and what they see in magazines and everything else to see what they should look like.

'And I think that the film industry and the television industry should take more responsibility.'

Demi was admitted to a US rehabilitation facility at the end of 2010 after seeking treatment for bulimia, as well as other 'emotional and physical issues.
