Demi Lovato's Heartbreak For Ailing Aunt

Singer Demi Lovato has thanked fans for their support as she prays for an ailing aunt.

The Skyscraper hitmaker, who made her debut on U.S. Tv talent show The X Factor last week (12Sep12), has been rocked by the news of a family health crisis - her beloved aunt Pam has reportedly suffered a heart attack.

The star has reached out to her devotees, who she affectionately calls her Lovatics, to ask for prayers, tweeting, "Please pray very hard for my Aunt Pam. She could use many prayers right now and I know my Lovatics can help me out with that."

And she updated her Twitter.com page on Tuesday (18Sep12) to tell followers their support has boosted her spirits, writing, "I wanna say thank you to all my Lovatics that prayed for my aunt. Means so much to my family. Please keep praying for her to regain strength."
