Simon Cowell Brands X Factor USA Judges Demi Lovato 'A Brat' And Britney 'Mean'

So far the X Factor USA new judging line-up have steered clear of the normal bitching and in-fighting that we've come to expect from the hit show but now things look like they might be spicing up as Simon Cowell brands fellow judge Demi Lovato "a brat" and Britney Spears "mean!"

Up until now the new panel have had pretty much nothing but nice words to say about each other with newbies Britney and Demi showering each other in gushing compliments in recent interviews. But we knew we could count on Mr Nasty to bring some drama into the mix.

Si has admitted he thinks Disney star Demi "is a brat" but goes onto to praise his protege, according to Now, saying "But there's something really likeable about her."

Brit doesn't escape Simon's 'wrath' either: "And as for Britney, I've always said she's the number one person I've wanted on one of these shows. I thought it would be interesting to have her on the show."

"You see another side of her - Britney's quite mean, which you'll discover!"

OK so maybe not scathing criticisms but it's more interesting than all the compliments!

It's not the first time Simon's called a fellow X Factor judge a brat - he previously used the label for his UK sweetheart Cheryl Cole, who was famously axed from US X Factor last year during the audition stages.

According to Now, the music mogul admits that no panellist is safe on the latest series either: "No one has any job security really - including myself! You're at the hands of the audience."
