Demi Lovato gushes about judging spot on 'X Factor'

X Factor newbie judge and Give Your Heart A Break singer, Demi Lovato is gushing about the upcoming season the hit singing competition.

I think people are really gonna like it. It's really funny, she tells MTV. It's really honest and there's tons of drama that goes on backstage between the contestants. Which I think is going to be pretty fun to watch."

Lovato joins Simon Cowell, L.A. Reid and fellow newbie judge Britney Spears. Despite reports that Spears brought a lot of drama to the X Factor set, Lovato expresses that the chemistry between the two is amazing. She stated:

"I have fun with every single person on the panel. We always joke back-and-forth. We feel really comfortable together and I really couldn't ask for a better panel to be sitting together with. They're just icons. All three of them."

Spears is also loving her spot as judge. She told E! News back in May:

I am having the most incredible time and love being able to sit next to Simon at the judging table. The talent has been tremendous.

The new season of X Factor airs September 12.
