Demi Lovato debuted as X-Factor judge last Wednesday and got slammed by a contestant. GreenBeanBuddy said that the incident displayed the oppositions there are about her judging a talent show at her age.

The X-Factor premiered its second season on Wednesday night. But although the two new judges received compliments for the way they evaluated contestant's performances, Demi Lovato, in particular, got slammed. And according to GreenBeanBuddy.com, the incident showed that not everybody is happy about the young singer's judging gig.

The report said that the 20-year-old got a biting remark from an auditionee named Shawn Armenta, 50. The contestant failed to impress the judges and got a scathing comment from Simon Cowell. However, after Lovato expressed her agreement with Cowell, Armenta countered the former Disney star with his own piercing comment involving auto-tune.

Lovato's exact comment as shared by the report was this: "A lot of people work really, really hard for their dreams, but it's not meant for everybody." And Armenta's reply was: "That's why you use Auto-tune and I don't."

After the auditionee's answer, the report related that the two other judges, Britney Spears and L.A. Reid, stepped in to defend Lovato. Spears demanded to know who let the contestant in and Reid kind of expressed it's time Armenta gets off the stage.
