Niall Horan might be hoping to hook up with Demi Lovato in Los Angeles at the MTV Music Video Awards tomorrow but looks like the X Factor hotty has other ideas as she has been tweeting her ex boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama.

The actor sent Demi a pretty intense birthday message when she turned 20 in August fuelling rumours that the couple had reignited their love, with the star responding with a message claiming he was her world.

Wilmer wrote on Twitter: Feliz Cumpleaos to my angel @ddlovato, U continue 2 make me proud. U are the hero this generation its been waiting 4! With & by you always.

She responded: @WValderrama You are amazingThank you so much love. You mean the world to me.
