Demi Lovato Gives Anti-Bullying Speech At New York Girls' School Assembly
Popstar and 'Camp Rock' actress Demi Lovato is greeted with excited screams from her fans as she surprises a bunch of students at the Young Women's Leadership School in East Harlem, New York who are having an 'anti-bullying' assembly campaigning for a 'Drama Free School Year' as part of the Secret's Mean Stinks campaign which Lovato is an ambassador of.
Demi talks about how bullying affected her in her school years and why she is proud to be an ambassador for the cause. 'Bullying is a very serious thing and it's not cool, it doesn't make you popular, it doesn't make you fun to be around', she says as she urges the girls not to take part in bullying and to raise awareness. After her speech, Demi poses with some of the girls for photos as they all link hands to represent unity.
